About Us
Tim and Phil are both retired Chief Superintendents from the South Wales Police,with distinguished careers that spanned 30 years each.
Within their policing roles, they had the fundamental responsibility of maintaining the highest standards of professionalism among the 5,000 officers and staff within South Wales Police.
Recognising the depth and breadth of their experience, they felt a responsibility to share their insights beyond policing. In 2017, they founded Professional Together with a clear and precise mission.
Our Mission
21st century life, whilst rich with opportunities and experiences, has many associated vulnerabilities and threats. It's common to hear of promising careers or lives derailed by a single misjudgment or moment of madness.
At Professional Together, we aim to address this challenge proactively, we firstly raise awareness within organisations and with individuals about these inherent threats and vulnerabilities and where they are most at risk. We then share guidance and sound advice to help mitigate and manage these threats, in simple terms ‘how to keep safe’.
Drawing from our combined 60 years of policing experience as operational officers and senior leaders, we have crafted a series of in-depth and interactive learning sessions. These sessions aim to illuminate potential vulnerabilities and provide the strategies and solutions for individuals and organisations to navigate them effectively.

FOUNDERS
After completing their police service, Chief Superintendents Tim Jones and Phil Davies decided to combine their knowledge and skills and use them for the benefit of the outside world.
They chose a team of specialist trainers, drawn also from the high-risk world of policing, to provide guidance, support and effective learning toolkits to companies and individuals in a world of ever-evolving risk.
